Trump, 78, couldn't resist making a dig at the Bad Blood hitmaker as he welcomed the 2025 Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles to Washington D.C. following their victory against the Kansas City Chiefs on February 9.

Seemingly referring to that moment, Trump reminisced about the football game in his speech and recalled, "Soon thanks to 55 points in the day, the Eagles punched their ticket to a Super Bowl rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs, and you know what happened... wasn't it incredible?
"A little surprising but right from the beginning of the first quarter of the big game... which I was there, I watched in person. I was there with Taylor Swift... how did that work out? How did that one work out?" he added sarcastically.
When a clip of his speech was posted on X, many were quick to pick up on his jab, as one person commented, "LMAOO.. Donald Trump reminds everyone of Taylor Swift getting BOOED at the Super Bowl."

Another wrote, "Loved the shot from President Trump on Taylor Swift during the Philadelphia Eagles’ White House Visit. HAHAHAHA."
However, others were quick to defend Swift, as one wrote, "Trump is so obsessed with Taylor Swift…. All because she’s a beautiful rich white blonde woman who doesn’t support him…."
Another person posted, "Trump can't let go of Taylor Swift," and a third fumed, "Donald f---ing Trump needs to keep Taylor Swift and Canada out of his vocabulary." And a fourth person accused, "AGAIN !.. Trump begging for Taylor Swift’s attention. Absolutely pathetic."

It comes after certain Philadelphia Eagles players made the decision not to attend the event at the White House.
On Monday, a White House official confirmed Jalen would not be present at the White House due to "scheduling conflicts." Hurts was joined by several other prominent Eagles stars in not attending the trip to visit President Trump.
The decision by Hurts and “other prominent Eagles” players comes after Saquon Barkley lashed out at fans over the backlash he received for playing a round of golf with the controversial President. Barkley attempted to justify his decision later on social media, which led to further ridicule.
