Sage Gearsets (BiS)
This page presents several premade best-in-slot (BiS) gear sets forend-game Savage raiding, along with explanations that should help you choosethe set that best fits your needs. If you are curious about how we create thesesets, or if you would like to compare other sets, you can view theSageRelative Damage Calculator.
While you are gearing up, it is a good idea to have a set to work towardso that you can spend your weekly capped Tomestones effectively. However, thestat priorities of these best-in-slot sets do not necessarily apply toprogression raiding. Notably, many of these sets have very little Piety (ornone at all). This is not generally recommended for progression.
You can find Sage's general stat priorities and explanations onthe Stats and Melding page.

Patch 7.05 Gear Sets - BiS
This set is the best-in-slot with Savage gear. The 2.50 GCD offers perfect alignment. Betweenthe slow GCD, and a single unavoidable piety piece, MP should not be a concern.
As is often the case with healer sets, a few slots intentionally use lower-ilvl pieces, asthe higher pieces offer less desirable substates. If you would prefer a safer set, you canuse ilvl 730 raid boots instead. This will provide a bit more HP, and even more Piety.
These sets are intended for raiding. This is the best gear you can achieve prior to winning anyloot in a raid, and with only a single week worth of tomes and normal raid tokens. To make the set more budget-friendly, you can omit some of the overmelds.
2.3.
Relic BiS for 6.5, 2.39
If you have access to up-to-date relics for patch 6.5, this will give you an edge onDPS. Just be aware that MP economy will be slightly worse than the other sets, as itonly has the base amount of piety yet a faster GCD.
2.4.
Alternate Relic BiS for 6.5, 2.41
Another relic set, featuring a slightly slower GCD but more determination. While stillonly having base piety, this set will have slightly better MP economy due to the longerGCD time.
2.5.
Standard with Tomestone Ring, 2.42 GCD
With efficient healing, this set is comfortable for general use. Usingthe Tomestone ring sacrifices an extremely small amount of damage for asignificant boost to your MP, and a modest amount of HP. It can tolerate a fewextra safety heals or a raise without much trouble, but it may not have enoughMP depending on how much healing and raising you'll need to do.Plus, with the same 2.42 GCD as last raid tier, there isn't muchadjustment/re-learning needed.
Portions of these gear sets can only be acquired by completing the Abyssos raid tier.A guide for the content can be found in the link below.

2.6.
Higher Piety, 2.44 GCD
This set features 621 piety, an increase of 95 over the 2.42 set. Plus, the slightly slower GCD also helps reduce mana consumption. This set can lasteven longer before mana becomes an issue.
2.7.
Even Higher Piety
This set has even better MP sustain, with a whopping 741 piety and a niceslow 2.47 GCD. It will last quite some time even with a generous amount ofraising and GCD healing. DPS checks in ultimates are not as tight as savagecontent, so don't be afraid to err on the side of caution and go witha higher piety set.
2.8.
6.5 Relic BiS for 6-1-1 Final Phase
If you have an up-to-date relic, and are doing 6-1-1 stacks in the final phase, this is the ideal set. It has slightly less piety than the 3-2-2 sets, as 6-1-1has significantly reduced healing requirements in the final phase. However, thisset has more piety than the non-relic version, as it has a faster 2.42 GCD, comparedto the 2.50 GCD of the non-relic set.
2.9.
6.5 Relic BiS for 3-2-2 Final Phase
If you have an up-to-date relic, and are doing 3-3-2 stacks in the final phase, this is the ideal set. It has slightly more piety than the 6-1-1 sets to accommodate for thegreater healing requirements of 3-3-2 over 6-1-1, but it has an edge over the non-relic setsin terms of DPS. Be warned that MP economy will be ever-so-slightly worse than the non-relic version,as this set features a 2.46 GCD instead of the 2.50 GCD on the non-relic sets.
2.10.
6.5 Non-Relic BiS for 6-1-1 Final Phase
If you do not have a relic, and are doing 6-1-1 stacks in the final phase, this is the ideal set. It has slightly less piety than the 3-2-2 sets, as 6-1-1has significantly reduced healing requirements in the final phase.
2.11.
6.5 Non-Relic BiS for 3-3-2 Final Phase
If you do not have a relic, and are doing 3-3-2 stacks in the final phase, this is the ideal set. It has slightly more piety than the 6-1-1 sets to accommodate for thegreater healing requirements of 3-3-2 over 6-1-1.
